Sneak-in burglars raid two Droitwich homes in one night

SNEAK-IN burglars targeted two homes in Droitwich last night (Tuesday), gaining access through unlocked front doors.

A wallet containing £300 and a number of cards was taken from one house on Clee View and a handbag from another on Vines Lane while the residents were asleep.

Police believe to target the homes the burglars would have had to walk around Droitwich trying a number of front doors to see if one was unlocked.

Residents, in the area, with CCTV on their premises have been asked to check it for anyone acting suspicious.

Sgt Sarah Kent, from the Droitwich Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Although they may not have been victims themselves they could have key evidence which could help us catch the offender.

“Also, please make sure you keep your doors locked at all times, not just when you leave your house.”

Anyone with any information call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
