Snow leads to some Droitwich schools being closed tomorrow to all pupils

Droitwich Editorial 24th Jan, 2021 Updated: 24th Jan, 2021   0

A NUMBER of schools will be fully closed tomorrow (Monday, January 25) – including to key workers’ children and vulnerable pupils – because of snow.

Cutnall Green First School, Ombersley Endowed First School, St Peter’s CE Academy, Sytchampton Endowed Primary School and Wychbold First School and Nursery will all be shut.

There are also some partial closures –

Chawson Community First School is open to keyworker and vulnerable children from 10am to allow for staff and children to safely travel to the sites. Updates may be given tomorrow morning.

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School will be closed to pre-school and reception classes all day.  For the children with an on-site place in years one to six, pupils should arrive at 10am. School will close at normal time.

Remote learning will remain in place at many schools – parents are urged to check with the individual schools.
