DROITWICH has proved it has cracking conveniences once again after its lovely lavatories were given platinum status in the auunal British Toilet Association Loo of the Year Awards.
Both the ones at the Lido and in St Andrew’s Square made the grade and representatives from Wychavon District Council, which manages them, will pick up the accolades at a special ceremony on December 5.
Sharon Casswell, Wychavon’s client service manager, praised Mitie and its team which cleans and maintains the toilets on behalf of the council.
“Residents and visitors alike continue to give us excellent feedback on our facilities and this is just as satisfying as any award.”
