Spate of vehicle crimes across Droitwich in the last ten days

THERE have been a number of vehicle crimes in Droitwich over the past week.

Between 4pm on March 28 and 7am on March 29, windows were smashed on a vehicle parked on the Berry Hill Industrial estate and diesel was stolen from another.

Then on March 29 the passenger side window on a car was smashed in Homestead, Droitwich.

A knife or other sharp object was used to scratch the driver’s side of a vehicle in Grafton Place, Droitwich, between 9am on March 31 and 4pm last Sunday. The four or five scratches were deep and done in wavy lines.




A wallet containing a bank card was stolen from a vehicle while it was parked in Henley Drive, Droitwich, at some point between 2pm on March 31 and 8am on April 1.

The raiders got in through an unlocked door of the car in Henley Drive before taking the wallet which was found down an alleyway by a person who handed it to police and it was returned to the owner.


And thieves threw a brick through the window of a vehicle while it was parked in Friar Street between 9.30pm on March 30 and 9.30am on March 31, escaping with a black fourth generation iPod.

And between 10.50am and 1.15pm on Wednesday, the wing mirror and casing was snapped off a vehicle parked in Sheldon Close, Wychbold.
