A WORCESTERSHIRE HOSPICE is to hold its first ever kilo sale this month to raise funds for its care of patients and loved ones.
The St Richard’s Hospice end-of-season kilo sale will take place in the hospice building, at Wildwood Drive, Worcester, on Saturday, 17 May from 10am to 3pm.
Bargain hunters will have the opportunity to browse more than 3,000 items of autumn/winter clothing and two tonnes of accessories sold by the weight at £10 per kilo.
Anyone is welcome to attend the event with pre-booking essential for those wishing to get their hands on the full range of items available in the sale ‘power hours’ from 10am to 11am and 11am to 12pm.
Dan Corns, Associate Director of Retail Operations, for St Richard’s Hospice, said: “Our charity shops have been turning clothes into care for decades so we’re hoping our first ever kilo sale will do more of the same.
“Whether you’re new to kilo sales or a regular, join us to browse, weigh, then pay—three simple steps to update your wardrobe while being kind to your pocket, our patients and the planet.”
Tickets for the opening two hours of the event are £5 per person per hour with under 14s attending free when accompanied by an adult.
From 12pm to 3pm, pre-booked tickets are £3 each or £5 on the door. Hospice café, The Green, will be open selling a selection of hot and cold drinks and cakes. All proceeds support the hospice.
