A CAMPAIGN has been launched by St Richard’s Hospice to find 101 volunteers in 101 days to help staff its charity shops.
The high street stores, including the one in Gurneys Lane, Droitwich, are the charity’s face within the community and last year the shops achieved a turnover of £2.37million through selling good quality clothes, bric-a-brac, books and furniture donated by local people.
Those wanting to find out more about volunteering for St Richard’s can go along to taster sessions and information sessions in the stores around Worcestershire.
The charity’s commercial director Danny Corns said St Richard’s was looking forward to welcoming new volunteers.
Anyone keen to volunteer should call into their local shop or call the staff and volunteer recruitment coordinator Kristie Smith on 01905 763963.
