A DROITWICH businesswoman has moved into a new premises in the town centre after the soy wax melts she makes filled the air with the scent of success.

Jamie Curtis started Sugar Rush in September 2020 when her daughter Myla started school, creating Reed diffusers, room sprays and car air fresheners as well as the melts.

She said: “I ran out of room in my home kitchen so myself and my partner Nathan Stevens – owner of Spa Car Spares in Droitwich – decided the next step would be to open a shop.

“A shop had always been the dream but I didn’t think it would be happening within 10 months.”

Sugar Rush also sells vegan friendly beauty products such as face creams, oils, shampoo bars, face masks and bath bombs and she stocks environmentally friendly beauty and home accessories.

Her official launch of her new store in Suite H of 130 Charles Henry House will be held on Saturday from 6pm and 9pm.
