Support offered by county council to help Worcestershire businesses hit by the pandemic grow and develop

BUSINESSES hit by the pandemic can now get funding towards a membership to help them grow and develop.

For a limited time, Enterprising Worcestershire is offering funding of £150 towards any business membership.

Memberships can cover access to a range of services, including legal and tax support, employment legislation, webinars, masterclasses and networking opportunities.

Run by Worcestershire County Council, the support has been designed to enable start-up and early stage businesses to develop and prosper.

The membership funding allowed David Coggon, who runs a holiday accommodation business in Worcestershire, to join the Chamber of Commerce to access their services and networking.

The membership support is available to Worcestershire businesses under three years old, with less than five employees.

Support will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis for eligible applicants and participating businesses will have to commit to actively use their membership.

The programme is funded by Worcestershire County Council, the district councils and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
