A SHOPLIFTING suspect was arrested after police chased them down in the town centre.
The incident happened afternoon when the person was suspected of stealing from a store.
Officers said: “A thank you to the four helpful lads who assisted in pointing out where the shoplifter had ran off to and kept the person in their sight before they were subsequently arrested.”
