WYCHAVON District Council’s annual residents’ survey reopens soon offering constituents a chance to have their say and influence local authority decisions.
The survey asks constituents about topics ranging from how satisfied they are with council services to how safe people feel in their local area.
Opening on Sunday, September 15, the survey will be available until October 15.
It will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
Feedback from the survey will be considered and used to in an effort to improve service.
This year, the council are asking residents to share priorities for the region which will feed into development of the council’s revised four year plan for next year.
Residents who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win £100 to spend with an independent local business of their choice.
More than 1,200 people took part in last year’s survey. 79 per cent of those who took part said they were very or fairly satisfied with where they lived and 63 per cent were fairly or very satisfied with Wychavon as a council.
In last year’s survey, parks, leisure centres and waste and recycling collections were the three services people were most satisfied with.
Councillor Bradley Thomas, leader of Wychavon District Council, said: “We want as many people as possible to take part in the survey and give us their views.
“Every single piece of feedback we receive will be read and considered as we prepare to set out our new plan, which guide the work of the council over the next four years.
“Your views really will make a difference so please take the time to have your say.”
