A CIDER maker who suffered a broken spine two years ago which meant he had to quit his trade is hoping to pass on his skills to others.
Steve Cooper, who runs Tardebigge Cider with wife Christine, has also seen their income reduced over the past 18 months because the Covid pandemic meant there were no events and 75 per cent of the producer’s sales came from attending shows and festivals.
The pair have conceded they can no longer take part in the shows and will soon be selling off their vehicles.
They are now using their equipment to teach others how to make cider and are want people interested in undertaking the sessions to get in touch.
The first courses will run on Saturday and Sunday, October 23 and 24, and next weekend, October 28 and 29.
On the courses, which are £152 per person, participants will learn to make fresh apple juice from the apples they pick, along with craft cider and meals with cider and apple juice.
