WORKERS, from local spring and presswork manufacturers MSP are hoping to raise money for Primrose Hospice by cycling across Cumbria and Northumberland.
In recent years MSP has raised over £8,000 for Primrose Hospice and now sixteen riders are hoping to raise thousands more by cycling the route of Hadrian’s Wall, a distance of 174 miles.
Kate Kelly from the hospice said: “We’re really delighted that MSP have chosen to support our work through this adventurous fundraiser.
“MSP chose to support Primrose as it became apparent the hospice had supported people in the community that were known to their workforce.”
The hospice is an independent local charity that provides free care and support for patients suffering from life limiting illnesses and their families.
To provide this free care and support, Primrose Hospice needs to raise over £1.75 million every year.
