Thieves escape with £1,000 worth of power tools

MORE than £1,000 worth of power tools were taken from a vehicle parked on a building site in Bishops Wood.

Thieves targeted the van, parked off Bishop Wood Road, between 10.30am and 12.30pm on July 2 while the owners were still on the site.

The criminals escaped with a Paslode nail gun with an estimated value of £600, a Makita chop saw worth about £400 and a Hitachi rip which cost around £300.
