THIEVES stole cash from a church collection box between 11pm on July 22 and 12.30am on July 23, writes Sam Arrowsmith.
It happened at St James Church, Oddingley.
The offertory box, which was attached to the wall, was forced open and the raiders fled with an unknown quantity of money.
Witnesses or anyone with information on the incident should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
