Thieves steal Shetland pony's tail in Tibberton

A SHETLAND pony in a paddock in Tibberton had its tail stolen in a barbaric attack.

The 24-year-old was targeted between 11am and 2pm last Friday.

The pony was roughed up and its tail cut right back, almost to the bone.

The pony’s owner believed that the theft might be related to some sort of treasure hunt.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
