A BMW 4 series has been stolen in a car key burglary in Amphlett Way Droitwich.

It happened between 10.30pm on Monday and 6.30am on Tuesday.

The raiders broke into the property to take the keys and then stole the vehicle.

It is the third BMW to be taken from Droitwich in the past fortnight.

A BMW M3 Coupe was stolen from the driveway of a property in Manor Close, Droitwich, at 7.50pm last Tuesday.

And a BMW 420D Sport was stolen during another car key burglary in Droitwich – this time in Earls Common – at 12.26am on April 3.

That vehicle had the registration number 111 JVX and a Samsung tablet was also taken in the raid.

The Standard contacted West Mercia Police about the thefts.

A spokesperson said: “We are not linking them at this stage but are keeping an open mind as we investigate.”

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
