THREE events are set to receive cash boosts from Droitwich Spa Town Council.
At Monday night’s meeting, members of the Communities and Anemities Committee confirmed St Richard’s Festival, taking place in April, could have the £1,000 the organisers requested.
Moonstone Support Services will receive £1,000 to put on two six-week courses for vulnerable adults with learning difficulties.
And, from the 2023/24 budget, members agreed in principle to provide Droitwich Food Festival with £1,000. That will be ratified at the committee’s June meeting as the next financial year has not yet started.
