THREE people were taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Droitwich.
Police are in attendance following the collision on the A38 Roman Way in Droitwich between the Westlands Estate and Chateau Impney.
Firefighters from Droitwich, Bromsgrove and Worcester attended and had to cut a person out of one of the vehicles.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent three ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance critical care car.
Paramedics treated three patients, a man, woman and child for minor injuries not believed to be serious.
They were all taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.
The collision – and the emergency services working at the scene – led to long delays on one of Droitwich’s busiest roads.
A police spokesperson said: “Build up of traffic is heavy so please avoid the area and seek alternative routes.”
