MEMBERS of Droitwich Dolphins Swimming Club were all smiles when the town’s leisure centre opened on Monday.
Head coach Dave White said the last 12 months had been ‘hard on everyone’ at the club as they are used to routine, structure and sense of belonging.
“It not only keeps them fit and healthy, but it’s a great way of making new friends too,” Said Dave.
“We are welcoming back members, old and new, with an exciting programme of activities both in and out of the pool.”
One of those is a crowdfunding activity which will see members swimming the distance between the London Aquatic Centre and Droitwich in May.
The club, which operates out of Droitwich Leisure Centre, is open to young swimmers aged 8 and over.
