SWIMMERS are being urged to take a dip in Droitwich Spa Lido before its doors close for the winter on September 6.
With time running out, Suzi Wood, who is Chairman of the Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido, said: “I would like to see as many people as possible pay a visit to the Lido and enjoy our wonderful facility.”
To help support visiting numbers, the Friends have bought a large number of adult and children’s tickets, which they have given to schools in Droitwich and the surrounding area.
The Friends have also been running tombola at various events throughout the summer such as St Richard’s Day, Food and Drink and Charter Day in an effort to give people the chance of winning tickets.
The Friends will also be staging further fundraising events throughout the close season.
