Droitwich Editorial 23rd Nov, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

FANS of Simon and Garfunkel will be in their element at Droitwich’s Norbury Theatre next Friday (November 27) when a top tribute act comes to Friar Street.

Simon and Garfunkel: Through the Years provides live recreations of the pair’s classic songs in a show which also features imagery and interviews with the real stars.

It all began in 2011 when two old school friends decided to create their own theatre show to celebrate the music of their favourite artists.

Now Dan Haynes and Pete Richards, who are affectionately known as ‘Bookends’ after Simon and Garfunkel’s third studio album, are wowing audiences around the world with their live renditions of the iconic songs, such as Mrs Robinson, Sound of Silence, Bridge Over Troubled Water and The Boxer.

The show next Friday starts at 7.30pm and tickets, which are £12 (£10 concessions), are available at www.norburytheatre.co.uk or by calling 01905 770154. Visit www.simonandgarfunkelbybookends.co.uk for more on the band.
