Town's Specsavers becomes permanent drop-off point for Droitwich Foodbank

THE TOWN’S Specsavers has now become a permanent collection point for Droitwich Foodbank after the success of a festive campaign which saw 400kg of produce donated.

Staff at the St Andrew’s Square store were overwhelmed with the support to help residents and families who were struggling.

Droitwich Specsavers’ store director and optometrist Emma Singh said: “It’s so heartening to see how much people really do care for those less fortunate than themselves – and we want to say a big thank you to everyone who made a donation to the Foodbank.”

And she urged people to continue to support the cause by donating non-perishable items, long-life foodstuffs, toiletries and essential household items.
