WORCESTERSHIRE Highways officers are heading to inspect temporary traffic lights in Droitwich following reports of a fault.
The lights, on the Worcester Road near St Andrew’s Road, are currently not working which has led to long tailbacks in the area.
One driver told the Standard: “It was absolutely horrendous – they were four-way traffic lights which led to a lot of confusion.
“Because the queue of cars was so far back, you could not initially see the lights were broken.
“Then – by the time you got there and realised – you were already in the eye of a storm.”
