Tributes paid to Ombersley motorbike victim

TRIBUTES have been paid to a man who died after his motorbike crashed into a tree on the A449 in Ombersley.

The family of Worcester man Derek John Martin, 42, who passed away last Wednesday (August 5), has been devastated after their loss.

Derek, who was a master stonemason at DJM Stonemasonry in Worcester, was a much loved brother, uncle, grandson and friend to many.

His funeral will be held next Friday (August 21) from 2pm at Wyre Forest Crematorium and any friends who wish to attend are welcome.




Police are still eager to talk to anyone who may have witnessed the incident which took place near the junction between the A449 and A4133 just before 10am on August 5.
