Trio of charities receive donation from Droitwich business networking club

THREE county charities have received a donation from a business networking club in Droitwich.

Worcestershire Business Breakfast Club (WBBC), one of the longest-running business networking clubs in Worcestershire, raised more than £160 for three good causes.

The money will be split between St Richard’s Hospice, Megan Baker House and NewStarts.

Members donated a variety of prizes for a raffle, including a Christmas cake from St Richard’s Hospice and a Christmas hamper from Webbs, which is where the club meets each month.

WBBC Chairman, Julie King, said: “What a wonderful way to end the year, giving to our chosen charities, who all do such great things within the local community.

“Christmas is a time for giving and receiving and we’re pleased to say that, thanks to the generosity of our members, we’ve been able to help not one, but three really worthwhile local causes.”

WBBC meet at Webbs in Wychbold from 7.30am to 9am on the last Friday of every month.
