Two arrested in Droitwich after police used stinger on stolen car

TWO people were arrested in Droitwich in the early hours of this morning after police spotted a stolen vehicle on false registration plates.

Officers from the Worcestershire OPU (Operational Policing Unit) tried to pull it over but failed to stop.

A pursuit followed and the car was stopped using a stinger.

The pair were then held and taken into custody.
