TWO suspected drug dealers were arrested after a team of 12 officers raided a Droitwich home.

A quantity of cannabis and suspected class A drugs – including cocaine and heroin potentially worth hundreds of pounds – were found at a property on Farmers Piece.

Officers forced their way into the home, on the Westlands estate, with a reinforcer about 3.30pm on Friday as part of Proactive CID’s intelligence-led operation Fuchsia.

A young man and middle age woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

Uniformed officers were also in the area to offer reassurance to residents.

Det Sgt Dave Knight said: “Those people will be dealt with and others will follow if people continue to deal with class A drugs.

“We are happy with the result today and will continue to crack down on drug dealers.”
