A TENNIS session for Ukrainian families took place on Saturday (September 17) at Lido Park, Droitwich.
Families came from Claines, Worcester, Droitwich and surrounding towns for the session, which aimed to help bring people together.
Neil Bates, a local tennis coach, helped organise and run the sessions.
He said: “It is all about the community and getting those people active, whether that is mentally or physically.
“The best thing to come out of Saturday’s session was seeing the adults who attended, talking and having a giggle.”
Droitwich CVS and Neil Bates, a Droitwich tennis coach, organised a total of two sessions, and the next one will be running this Saturday (September 24).
The session is designed for people of all ages.
Neil also aims to integrate members into the group with the main sessions he runs to help bring the communities together.
