Urgent flood warning for drivers with cars parked in Worcester city centre

Droitwich Editorial 25th Feb, 2020   0

AN URGENT warning has been issued to drivers who have cars parked in Worcester City Centre.

Worcestershire County Council is warning that the Cattle Market and Croft Road car parks could be flooded within the next 30 minutes and there is a good chance vehicles parked there will be submerged.

The warning comes amidst rising river and water levels and, the council says, around 85 cars are parked in the ‘danger zones’.
