Visitors flock to vibrant Droitwich flower show

VISITORS flocked to the Spring Flower Show at Droitwich’s Chawson Barns on Saturday.

Admission to the event, organised by the Droitwich Spa and District Horticultural Society, was free and the produce was sold after the show.

Joy Davis won the Best Exhibit in Floral Art cup and Pete Chamberlain took the Best Exhibit for Flowers and Pot Plants title.

There was also a Daffodil Society Medal which was awarded to Fred Hunt for ‘Best Daffodil in the Show’.

Organiser Val Jancey said: “The room was filled with lots of colour from the wonderful array of exhibits, which our visitors thoroughly enjoyed.

“We had a fantastic flow of people throughout the afternoon and there was plenty to look at.
