A WACKER plate worth £2,950 was taken from a construction site in Cutnall Green at some point between 3.30pm on July 19 and 7.30am on July 21.

The RPC 30/40 model was taken as thieves gained access to the site off Horton Lane, causing £50 worth of damage in the process.

The compactor is a machine used to reduce the size of waste material or soil by flattening it.

Any witnesses or anyone with any information on any of the incidents should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
