DRIVERS have been warned to be on their guard after spate of catalytic converter thefts in Wychbold.
The devices were taken from five vehicles in Crown Lane overnight between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Thieves target vehicles for their catalytic converters because they contain a number of high value metals.
Drivers should park cars in garages or on driveways where possible or in well-lit areas.
They should also report any suspicious behaviour or people hanging around vehicles to police by calling 101.
If a catalytic converter theft is in progress, call 999.
