A WARNING has been issued by South Worcestershire Police about a ‘key swap’ scam which sees people selling their cars targeted.
The pictured vehicle was taken for a test drive at 11pm on Wednesday.
The ‘buyer’ then returned the keys, but it was a fake one.
They then came back to steal the vehicle overnight.
A police spokesperson said: “Drivers should be aware of this tactic and should only consider sensible times for viewings.”
People are also urged to report any suspicious activity to 101.
