THREE cars were targeted on the same night in Droitwich, during a spate of thefts from vehicles.

The first incident, on Nightingale Close, took place between 6.30pm on Tuesday (September 22) and 8.30am the next day.

A TomTom sat nav worth £100 was taken from a grey BMW along with various CDs worth £30 and a vehicle owner’s book valued at £30.

A rucksack which had two fishing magazines in it and £20 of tea making gear was also stolen from a blue Mazda 6, parked on Falcon Close, between 6pm and 6am.

Thieves also stole £15 in cash from a grey BMW, parked on Clydesdale Road, in a third incident – that took place overnight between 4pm and 11.30am.

Insp Janet Heritage, from the Droitwich safer neighbourhood team, said: “Because of the times and areas these incidents happened we are linking them together.

“There is no damage to any of these vehicles, so people need to make sure they lock their cars and double check they have done this.

“If anybody has seen anything suspicious or has caught anything on their CCTV cameras can you please contact us.”
