A DROITWICH school has raised more than £450 for Sport Relief by selling cakes, donning their best active wear and getting in the gym.
The students at Westacre Middle School donated their money to wear non-uniform for the day and spent their lunch break on the exercise bikes and trampolines.
PE teacher Dave Thomas said: “It was so good to see all of our pupils enjoying the lunchtime activities which were being run by the year seven house captains , sports captains, playground leaders and a number of extra volunteers.
“Thank you to all of these leaders for manning the events so well. In the afternoon we held our fun run and again it was so nice to see all the school take part including a number of the teachers who dare I say it were looking a little red in the face by the end.”
