CHILDREN and staff at Westacre Middle School in Droitwich are celebrating after receiving a ‘good’ Ofsted rating.
Inspectors found the senior leadership team at the Ombersley Way school to be ‘supportive and effective in bringing about positive change and improvement’.
Maintaining the ‘good’ rating since 2013, pupils at Westacre were praised for their positive attitude towards learning, as well as their ‘impeccable’ manners.
Headteacher Donna Evans’s passion was highlighted, particularly her ‘determination in implementing initiatives to enable all children to be the best that they can’.
Speaking of the staff at Westacre, she said: “Their energy and hard work really does make a difference to our children.
“With our strong parental support, we very much look towards the future, addressing the recommendations and building on the continued success of our school within the Droitwich Spa Pyramid.”
