A CHRISTMAS message from Droitwich MP Nigel Huddleston.
“As we approach Christmas, I want to send my warmest wishes to everyone across Droitwich, Evesham and our villages.
“Christmas is a time to come together with loved ones and reflect on the year gone by, and 2025 has certainly been memorable.
“We’ve enjoyed some wonderful moments locally, from the return of Worcester Warriors to professional rugby to hugely successful community events such as the Battle of Evesham Festival, which once again showcased the very best of our area.
“A real privilege of my role is meeting the many volunteers and community groups who give their time to support others. Their kindness and commitment are at the heart of what makes our towns and villages so special.
Supporting our local economy has also remained an important focus, particularly as sectors such as farming and hospitality have faced real pressures this year.
“I’m grateful for the conversations I’ve had with local businesses, including at my regular business breakfasts, and I will continue to raise their concerns in Parliament in the new year.
“As we look ahead to the festive season, my sincere thanks go to everyone working over Christmas to keep our communities running.
“Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
