AN EVENT to raise awareness of cycling in Droitwich Spa has been hailed a great success, writes Rafi Khan.
The first Droitwich Critical Mass Ride took place on July 12 and was supported by 25 local community cyclists, accompanied by music and flags.
Everyone was welcome to join the one-hour ride which began at the Lido Park.
Critical Mass is a monthly bike ride which happens in towns and cities around the world.
Cyclists gather to highlight a presence on the streets and advocate for safer cycling conditions and infrastructure.
The next Droitwich Critical Mass Ride will take place on Saturday, August 9.
It will start at 10.15am from the Lido Cafe in the Lido Park.
