A CONCERT will take place at Droitwich Methodist Church, Worcester Road, at 7pm tomorrow (Friday) to raise funds for Action for Children.
The programme by The Whitworth Ensemble, which is giving its time for free, will include Brahms Clarinet Quintet Opus 115, Haydn String Quartet Opus 50 no.6 “The Frog” and a selection of Cole Porter and others.
The musicians, who are based in Manchester, work with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and the Halle Orchestra and the ensemble will be led by one of the leaders of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
