THE ORGANISERS of a 24-hour relay in Droitwich for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Star Appeal are looking for people to come forward and participate in the day-long race.

The feat will be held, along with a family fun day, at Droitwich Spa High School, on September 3 with the running taking place in the venue’s grounds.

The event, thanks to Enchanted StoryBook Parties, will feature an appearance by Frozen’s Elsa and Anna who will be posing for photographs with youngsters, there will be a Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue engine for children to explore, live music, bouncy castles, pony rides, face-painting, ice cream, a science workshop and more.

There will also be a raffle and auction to boost the coffers further.

Organiser Rebecca Hughes said: “We are hoping to raise a huge amount of money for the Star Appeal at BCH and it would be great to hear from more people interested in taking part in the 24-hour relay.”
