A WINE-TASTING evening held in Droitwich on February 20 raised more than £200 for the Save Our Brine Baths (SOBBS) campaign.
Participants – who enjoyed a ‘jolly evening’ – tasted six different wines and took part in an entertaining quiz on the country of each wine’s origin and grape variety.
Stephanie Vale, spokesperson for the Save our Brine Baths campaign, said: “We would like to thank Aidan Stevens for allowing us to use the drawing room at the St Andrews Town Hotel and the delightful staff there who helped make the evening such a success.”
The winning team scooped a magnum of bubbly which they shared with everyone.
The next event is a race evening at Vines Park Bowling Club at 7.30pm on April 18.
