A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a crash on the M5.
The car ended up on its side following the collision around 12.15am this morning.
The incident happened between Junction 5 (Droitwich) and Junction 6 (Worcester).
Fire crews from Droitwich, Worcester and Bromsgrove attended.
The woman was cut free from the car by firefighters.
A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson said one of its ambulances came across the overturned car just before Junction 6.
A second ambulance, two paramedic officers and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car were also sent to the scene.
After being treated for injuries not believed to be serious at the scene, she was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
West Mercia Police also attended.
