A WOMAN was seriously injured after the car she was in was involved in a crash and overturned on the M5.
The incident happened at 12.25pm yesterday lunchtime (Saturday) between Junctions 5 (Droitwich) and 6 (Worcester).
The woman, who was in her 30s, suffered a serious head injury and, after receiving emergency treatment at the scene to stabilise her condition, she was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson confirmed a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
“No other person was injured in the crash,” he added.
