A WOMAN was shot at with an air weapon from a moving car in Droitwich.
The woman was walking along the Worcester Road and was on her way to The Castle pub around 8.15pm on Wednesday.
She was repeatedly shot at with a pellet gun from a car window. The car then drove back past her and shot her again. It was a ‘machine gun’ style pellet gun which discharges rapid fire.
It was reported to the police and officers went out to see the victim. She also had footage of the incident and the registration number of the vehicle.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are currently ongoing after it was reported that pellet gun was fired out of a car window towards a pedestrian on Worcester Road in Droitwich, on Wednesday (16 April) at around 8.20pm.
“Officers are working through several lines of enquiries and have spoken to the victim.
“No injuries were sustained during the incident.”
