WOODLAND View Carehome is celebrating its first year of being open with a day of fun activities on October 23.
They are inviting the public to join them for live entertainment, homemade refreshments, activities for children and to see Marmalade the Therapy Ponies.
Cindy Hawkins, Home Manager at Woodland View, said: “The past year has been hard work to get to where we are today, but we have had a lot of fun along the way.”
Since opening, the care home has hosted its famous Macmillan Coffee Morning, where they had a guest star, Alsion Hammond.
Looking to the future, they hope to build on the progress they have made and hopefully start filling living spaces on the upper floors with new residents.
Booking is not needed for the event, and everyone is welcome to attend.
