A HOUSING association based in Worcestershire has helped donate over 1,300 Easter eggs to hospitals across the region with families at the Worcester Royal among those to receive a treat.
Colleagues from Platform Property Care, a subsidiary of Platform Housing Group, have helped bring smiles to families this Easter by donating the large sum of chocolate eggs.
The eggs, kindly donated by colleagues and contractors, were delivered using one of Platform’s new electric vehicles, which travelled across multiple counties, helping reduce emissions while spreading joy.
More than £2300 worth of Easter treats were sorted and distributed in just 24 hours.
Taylor Robins, Service Manager at Platform Property Care, who coordinated the collection, said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to coordinate an initiative such as this and I’m grateful for all the donations received from contractors and colleagues. It’s a real team effort and a great way to spread a bit of joy at Easter.”
Colleagues worked together to sort, pack and deliver the eggs, helping bring a little fun to children and families in hospital over the Easter period.
