Work gets under way on the first new play area in Wychbold for years

Droitwich Editorial 9th Jun, 2018   0

THE TURF has been cut on a new inclusive play area at Wychbold.

For years the school had a small playground which just had four items of equipment.

But now, thanks to money from developers building new homes in the area, an exciting area will be developed for all ages and abilities.

New exciting pieces of play equipment to support all ages will span the right hand side of the recreation field to entertain the children.

It is part of a bigger four-year plan to enhance Wychbold for the community with other plans including the refurbishment of the village hall incorporating a coffee shop, conference room and updated changing rooms to support football teams based there.

There will also be a school drop-off zone with additional parking.
