Wychbold's Liberty Leisure offering free exercise sessions online after outdoor socially-distanced sessions are curtailed by 'police and other authorities'

A LEISURE centre which had planned to start free outdoor socially-distanced exercise sessions today has instead opted to offer its workouts online on Zoom.

Following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s relaxing of the lockdown rules which came into force yesterday, Wychbold-based Liberty Leisure had planned to offer group workouts in its ‘vast grounds’ where people could train two metres apart.

The proposal had split opinion on social media and while many people backed the plans, others suggested it would risk the spread of the virus.

But it said on Facebook, after receiving advice from ‘the police and other authorities’, the idea has been put on hold and it was now offering free live sessions for members and non-members with its personal trainers via Zoom.

Among the daily sessions being offered are Full Body Circuit Class, Full Body Stretch Class, Full Body Circuit Class and HiiT Class.
