PUPILS from St Peter’s C of E Academy in Droitwich have had a good start to the school year after their soft play area was revanped to offer all-weather activities, writes Kirsty Card.
The new-look multi-functional space was unveiled after a complete transformation over the summer break.
It now includes a timber climbing frame with cargo net, rock garden, tyre planters and undercover spaces for learning in an outdoor environment.
Early Years Foundation Stage phase leader Jane Watts said: “The start of the school year is always exciting, but the opening of the new outdoor area gave an added buzz to the first day of school.”
To view this area and the school, St Peter’s is hosting an Open Morning on October 13 from 10am until 12pm.
