PUPILS from Westacre Middle School took part in a range of creative activities in the run up to their festive ‘Dabble Day’.

The students, who worked in mixed age groups, had five activities to rotate around, including ‘Strictly Come Christmas’ where they learnt to tango, making textile snowmen, printing, cooking, crafting wooden trees and more.

The children loved trying their hand at the different activities and interacting with others they would not usually speak to with many making new friends.

Westacre assistant headteacher Paul Barber said: “Yet again, Dabble Day has been an amazing day with children from different year groups working well together and learning many new skills.

“A massive thank you to our art and DT co-ordinator Mrs Morgan for organising the day so well and inspiring the children to be so creative.

“Well done also to all of the staff and pupils who all rose to the challenge and achieved many wonderful things during the day.”
